I oversee the implementation of the Active Opportunities Pathway, which is supported housing services for people experiencing homelessness and complex needs. Working directly with local authorities to develop flexible, bespoke, cost-effective solutions to meet a variety of support and accommodation needs for single people and families.
I come with 20 years of local government experience, working across Housing, Adult Social Care and Corporate Policy. The most celebrated achievements are enacting systems change, to help reduce social cost and public spend through the implementation of the Making Every Adult Matter programme in Hertfordshire.
My expertise in holistic commissioning and strategic housing has resulted in improved health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage. I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to support the charity Herts Young Homeless, where I served as Vice-Chair on the Board of Trustees.
When I’m not working, I have a love for discovering new cultures and with that comes a discovery of new foods and living better. Those who know me well, can vouch that I am a ‘foodie’ and a ‘yogie’!
I’m passionate about THN’s mission and collaborative environment which fosters inclusivity – enabling everyone, including residents to make a meaningful impact.
